weeks of adventures.
wine parties & curled in chairs talking late. fog hung picnics on lake edges, sprawled on colorful blankets with mouths full of chocolate & pies. long walks on forest paths, bowls of mexican hot chocolate with fingers curled tight begging for warmth, art shows & tapas in new dark magic places, shimmering lip gloss & new bone leather shoes.
impromptu tea parties on the floor, bike rides to eat hungarian cakes with a sweet mama & her wee freckle faced lad, hours and hours wandering various bookshops as the stacks next to my bed grow higher and higher. a vintage salon & urban homesteading open house at my home, good visits from far away beauty queens, and surprise stoppin’ by from close ones. jumping sprinklers with neighborhood kids on a rare hot day, a tiny princess makes me drawings of gnomes & gnome houses, i chop my hair off in a manifestation of change.
mariee sioux & alela diane in red velvet underground nooks, bourbon and strawberries over vanilla ice cream, curled in bed reading books until the wee hours with crisp fresh sheets and a purring cat, long perfect sundays…
Aaah, glorious pursuits all of them, sounds such lovely way to spend a week.
Lovely lovely dreamy dreamy.
The next Symposium is in September! I was planning on encouraging you to go.
Sounds like perfection to me! A dream that lasts weeks…
