1st day of thrifting in Vermont – a good many treasures! I also found 2 big bags of clothes – paper bag waist shorts, a bow tie, sailor jeans and a striped shirt for me, & many more lovely dresses and skirts to head onward to Etsy, as soon as my sister in law succumbs to my pressuring her to model for me. Yay!
This vintage tackle basket is amazing! Maybe I’ll strap it to my bike when I get home. The leather and metal latch is shaped like a fish!
This reproduction gravestone points to heaven, but will go on my land to direct weary travelers to cabins!
70’s jar for my kitchen at home (or maybe the cabin!) & toadstool salt and pepper shakers!
the basket would be great to put on a bike. i just got a great basket from thrifting too, and i love it! http://ciderandfaun.blogspot.com/2009/06/lets-get-thrifty.html
what great finds, the fishing creel is dandy. i love the sound of the bow tie and sailor jeans. but what are paper bag waist shorts?
andrea: whoa, that picnic basket is amazing!!!
