summer teaser

Disorienting wall-eyed day at work, to a long evening in the sunny living room. Sauvignon blanc & elderflower spritzers, new sunglasses & glasses (handmade in USA!), a scarf the color of my face, striped straw clutch. Gifted Husqvarna from tiny Swedish lady, the manual in Swedish. New china, building Easter baskets for the babies. LILACS.

  1. What a lovely, timely post on this dreary morning. And look at the wide-eye gaze on little marmalade kitters down there! Does he have a name yet? I am still pulling for Colonel Mustard 😛

P.S. I think you may need to do a turban tutorial – that is a perfect specimen, at least from what I can see of the photo!

  2. You had me with ‘elderflower spritzers’ (oooh!) but really caught my attention with made-in-the-USA sunglasses. I didn’t know that such a thing existed, and my husband needs new frames. I’m imagining custom sunglasses for myself…

  3. yes, yes yes. summer! it was here briefly on saturday, now it’s all cloudy and grey again. love those sunglasses – and that bag!

  4. Lovely photos! I can’t wait for summer. This weekend is supposed to be super nice here in the Boston area, so I have Big Plans for sure. I also have been going crazy over elderflower drinks! They’re so delicious and refreshing!

  5. I love every single thing about this post. Especially your face. Also, your face colored scarf. Also, those cats. & the jade sewing machine! I love your world. Miss it and you and he so.
