Ok, so no major furniture, but some sweet little things (mostly for the cottage) from local antique shops.
Shaker chair, $18. Moroccan side table, $30. Palm Beach 1940s light fixture, $40. English Ironstone teacups, set of 4 for $1. Vase, $6. Silver, $1 a piece.
exotic vermont here i come!
that little table is so wonderful! also, i have a very similar teacup, but it was made in japan. neat!
That lampshade is gorgeous!
Is that side table painted over or carved and then white? I have a similar one but the colors don’t match anything I own. Would it be crazy to paint? Lovely finds.
Looks like a dark/natural wood that was carved and then painted pale grey. It oddly matches the floors in our bedroom exactly.
I love that lamp so much! I hope I have a guest cottage some day. sigh.
i am super jealous of those teacups – also i have some fake shaker chairs that i want to paint something unexpected and bright – maybe a really good green and kind of shiny. will you leave yours as is?
Yes, I love the patina & worn bits. I actually have stopped painting furniture, because I went through a phase where everything got painted black and now I have 4 things I want to strip back to natural. Good times!
Amazing scores!!! And I loved the way you photographed them
That lamp is AMAZING. I love everything, but the lamp…wow.
Oh, I think those are my favorites of all your finds ever. That lamp! That table! Your cottage is going to be gorgeous.
I bought a vintage moroccan side table like that one and it came shattered in the mail. So sad.
